The sports club DROMEAS THRAKIS, with the support of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis and the Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS) of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, organise the 6th Thrace Night Run, on Saturday, 9th of May 2026, starting and finishing at the Coastal Avenue of Alexandroupolis.
The Gallery of Post-Byzantine Fine Arts “Ioannis Mitrakas”, located at 12 Bouboulinas Street (Cyprus Square – former Citizen Service Center), will host the Registration Center of the Night Run, offering a unique setting where sport meets culture. A collaboration that highlights the power of culture to support and inspire major events.

The Thrace Night Run awards 60 winners in total every year.
The 1st male winner and female winner of the 5 and 10 km races, as well as the first male and female winners of the 4 age categories of both races, will be awarded a medal & winner’s cup.
The top 3 male and female winners of the two races will be awarded winner’s medals in the following age categories:
➨ up to 40 years old,
➨ 40 – 50 years old,
➨ 50 – 60 years old,
➨ 60 years and over.
Of course, all finishers will be awarded commemorative medals.
All participants of the 5th Night Run will receive a personal athlete’s backpack.
