RACE PROCLAMATION
4th THRACE NIGHT RUN
ALEXANDROUPOLIS SATURDAY APRIL 13TH, 2024
The sports club DROMEAS THRAKIS, with the support of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis and the Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS) of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, organise the 4th Thrace Night Run, on Saturday, 13th of April 2024, starting and finishing at the Coastal Avenue of Alexandroupolis. The race is under the support of the Deputy Ministry of Sports (General Secretariat of Sports), the National Olympic Academy and the Democritus University of Thrace.
The race is held under the following conditions:
19:00 – Start 5.000m
20:00 – Start 10.000m
A winner’s cup will be awarded to the first male winner and the first female winner of both races, and to the first and first male and female winners of the 4 age categories of both races.
– The top three winners of the two races in the categories , up to 40 years old, 40-50 years old, 50-60 years old and above, will be awarded winners’ medals.
– All finishers will be awarded commemorative medals.
11. BENEFITS:
All participants of the two races will receive a t-shirt of the race.
12. Water and bananas will be available for all athletes at the finish line.
13. HEALTH COVERAGE – MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS:
The participants/runners take place in the event with necessary medical examinations and having had the necessary cardiac check-ups and bear full responsibility for their participation in terms of their physical condition and ability to participate.
The organisers are not responsible in case of injury, damage or any other kind of damage that may be suffered by a participant in the event during the race or after the end of the race.
Medical certificates will NOT be requested in the races as adults participate at their own risk.
When completing the online registration, the participating runner confirms the assumption of personal responsibility for his/her participation.
The organisers in cooperation with the Chief Medical Officer, the services of the Emergency Medical Services, the first aid personnel and the Greek Red Cross and the Greek Rescue Team, will take all necessary measures for the safety of the participating athletes.
14. PARTICIPATION FORMS:
Participation registrations of the athletes will be made online on the online platform of the race, until places are exhausted or until Monday 8/4/24.

-In person at the office of Dromeas, at the Stadium of Fotis Kosmas, on weekdays 5-8pm.
FINANCIAL PARTICIPATION:
The financial participation is set at 12 euros.
RACE SAFETY:
The health coverage is provided by EKAB, with the support of the Hellenic Rescue Team and the Hellenic Red Cross.
The road safety of the race is supported by the MOTO CLUB of Alexandroupolis.
